B -- ANALYSIS OF ENVIRONMENTAL SAMPLES FOR ORGANIC, PESTICIDE AND EXPLOSIVE CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS SOL DAAD05-96-R-0023 DUE 050396 POC Contract Specialist Helen Crawford (410) 278-7401 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Garrison, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD has a requirement for analytical services for the analysis of multi-media, multi-phase samples for organic, pesticide, and explosive chemical compounds. Procedures specified shall be used in the analysis of water, soil, sludge, sediment and other matrices. Analyses will be ordered on an as required basis. Contractor must meet the following requirements: (1) be responsible for pickup and packaging of samples at U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (USACHPPM) within 24 hours of notification; (2) be certified by its resident state, as well as the State of Maryland, the State of New York AND the State of New Jersey for the analyses of samples regulated by the Safe Drinking Water Act, and (3) contractor laboratory shall be accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (AALA), OR a state certification equivalent to AALA (e.g. California, New York and/or Utah) OR both. Period of performance is 12 months after date of award plus four one-year option periods. The opening and closing dates shown are estimated.
