70 -- FIP SOFTWARE AND SERVICES SOL HC1014-6059-0916 POC Bill Hamilton (703)-693-2140 The Defense Supply Service-Washington, on behalf of the Office of the under Secretary of Defense (PA & E), intends to acquire commercial off the shelf software and associated maintenance, training, and consulting services from i-Logix, inc. The i-Logix software, Statemate, is a tool used to describe and analyze software requirements based on a process view of the domain. Statemate employs activity and state transition diagramming to capture and analyze the behavior and changes in state of entities, and yields a dynamic, executable statement of software requirements directly translatable to the object paradigm. The software will be applied in the design of a simulation of point, campaign-level warfare for analysis. The software provides unambiguous statement of tasks, procedures, and sequencing derived from mission space analysis of joint warfare activities. The resulting product will facilitate verification of the results of the mission space analysis, by subject matter experts, and will be used by software engineers to convert the software requirements into an object model and high level design.
