The Department of Health (DOH) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the selection of a contractor to develop and implement a Client Information Management System (CIMS) for the Washington State Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). DOH plans to release the RFP within the next 90 days. Only vendors with a minimum of one year experience in the development of custom statewide WIC applications are eligible. The contractor will be required to develop, test, convert, operate, install and provide support of a custom Windows database application for a statewide distributed client/server architecture. To receive an RFP, all interested parties shall submit a letter to the RFP Coordinator certifying that they meet the minimum qualifications as stated above.
