type) body used on a 3/4-ton or 1-ton truck chassis. The full size
pickup inner bed width will accommodate a slip-on tanker unit or the
PTO pumper tanker unit. Weatheright side compartments are necessary to
protect tools, parts, supplies, and personal belongings such as
clothing and sleeping bags from weather, dust damage, and pilferage
when locked. An enclosed shelf, the full length of the body on the curb
side, is provided for storage of suction hose. The rear half of the bed
may be used for transportation of personnel and cargo with the slip-on
or PTO tanker unit installed; or it may be used as a full size pickup
bed when the slip-on unit is removed. The low position of the side
compartments offers easy access from all sides to the interior of the
