The US Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to place a request for a prefabricated concrete shelter. The shelter is to be reinforced using steel rebar in floors, walls and ceiling, and in exposed aggregate exterior surfaces. It shall be water proof and bullet proof and provide a two hour fire rating. Dimensions of the shelter must be 8''W O.D., 10' L O.D., 9' H I.D. since it will be built on an existing foundation. A diesel generator with certain specifications also needs to be installed in the structure. Contractor must be able to supply both items. Request for Quotation (RFQ) DACW61-96-Q-0136 will be issued on or about 3/26/96 with a closing date of 4/12/96 at 1700 hours.
