Drydock and Repair of the USCGC MARIPOSA (WLB-397) at the contractor's facility is scheduled for between 8 July and 16 August 1996. Major work items include : Underwater body inspection and preservation, zinc anode renewal, sea valve overhaul, Allied D5000 Single Point Davit Constant Tension winch installation, MCB quadrantal davit overhaul, hydrotest of air receivers, buoy deck/weather deck preservation, sea straineroverhaul, tank cleaning and inspection, anchor windlass overhaul, heat exchanger overhaul, fathometer transducer renewal, propeller repair, life raft installation, and freeboard preservation. Work must be completed by 16 August 1996. Solicitation is pursuant to the Small Business Competetive Demonstration Program and is scheduled for release on 1 April 1996.
