The purpose of this synopsis is to obtain potential sources for the construction of an 18 hole golf course, including clubhouse and maintenance facilities at Luke AFB, Arizona. Project will require an extensive knowledge in desert landscaping and maintenance in order to comply with all environmental needs of the State of Arizona as well as the Federal Government. This contract will be a firm-fixed price contract solicitated under a Request for Proposal (RFP) technically acceptable low priced offer. Magnitude range for this project is estimated between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Potential sources are requested to submit preliminary packages of past experience in construction of golf courses of this magnitude. Each package should include a brief biography of your company to include past performance and history of previous golf courses constructed, location, and type of course constructed. This package should be limited to no more than 20 pages of literature. Each perspective contractor will be requested to provide a brief formal presentation displaying their expertise in this field, this presentation should not be more than 20 minutes in length. Sources must be active members of the Golf Course Builders Association of America and have built at least two (2) 18 hole golf courses within the past six (6) years. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted. Perspective contractors are requested to provide their preliminary packages no later than 29 Mar 96 and be prepared to present their proposal on 8 Apr 96.
