The Work consists of the construction of a one-story addition to and the interior renovations of an existing welding/machine shop to provide space for a Base Aircraft Support Equipment Maintenance and Repair facility. New construction, interior building renovations, paving and other site improvements are required as part of the Work. The estimated price is expected to range from $500,000 to $1,000,000. The tentative date for issuing the invitation is 10 APR 96. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 31 MAY 96. The period of performance is 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. There will be a $53.72 charge (personal checks and cash will NOT be accepted) for solicitation documents. Solicitation must be requested in writing. Plans are available for inspection, without charge, at the Air National Guard base located at 1500 E. Valencia Rd., Tucson, AZ and are also available at the Contracting Office.
