A -- GNAT 750 SPARES PROCUREMENT POC Contact, Julianne Taylor, Phone (703)604-0903 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification to Contract N00019-95-C-0156 with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., for spare parts required for the GNAT-750 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). General Atomics is the sole designer and developer of the GNAT-750 UAV and as such is the only source with the knowledge, experience, technical expertise, and data required to meet the Government's needs in the required time frame. The statutory authority for these procurements is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. See note No. 22 - NAVAIR Synopsis No. 40021-96. (0065)
