intends to issue a Request For Infromation (RFI) to British Aerospace
Defense Limited (BAe), Dynamics Division, Stevenage England, to gain
insight into the Advanced Short Range Air to Air Missile (ASRAAM)
System. Major areas to be addressed include: System Technical
Capabilities including Seeker Performance, Kinematic Performance,
Environmental Compatibility, System Effectiveness and System
Engineering Factors; Cost including development costs, production/unit
costs, life cycle costs, operation and support costs, all
non-recurring and recurring costs of U.S unique integration, as well as
an assessment of cost impacts due to schedule revisions; Integrated
Logistics Support including maintainability, supportability and repair
strategies; aircraft compatibility and integration; and Master Program
Schedules. The Government will engage in an ongoing dialogue with BAe
as part of this RFI process, with supplements to this RFI being
released on an as needed basis. Parties wishing to review the RFI
