Foreid, Contract Specialist, (813)840-5450 The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is seeking sources to provide general engineering and technical support services to the Directorate of Command, Control, Communications & Information Systems (SOJ6). SOJ6 provides critical command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) capabilities for the command's worldwide special operations missions. The contractor will provide technical support in such areas as the following: systems research and design, engineering analyses, technical problem resolution, and technical staffwork involving special operations forces C4I systems, requirements, doctrine, standards, and architectural planning encompassing interoperability and interface planning for future systems. Anticipate awarding an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with work issued via time and material task orders. Period of performance is 1 October 1996 through 30 Sep 2001. SIC is 8711. Size standard is $18M gross receipts over a three year period.
