The Annapolis Detachment of the Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to acquire through full and open competition, a 500 kilowatt, 700VDC transformer-rectifier which will be used to provide power to two (2) 250KVA/200KW solid state DC-to-AC inverter cabinets that will be mounted in a trailer. The Navy anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract on or about 31 May 1996. Any interested parties should submit a written request to receive RFP package once eligible for release. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Evaluation for award will include the offeror's ability to fully comply the specifications, other requirements as specified in Section C of the Statement of Work, and the ability to meet stated delivery requirements. Delivery is required 120 days after date of contract and FOB is in Cincinnati, OH. Award will be based on technically acceptable, low price award scenario. Note 1 applies.
