The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for a UHF/VHF antenna system to enhance existing Radar Cross Section (RCS) measurement capabilities. The system shall be capable of being slaved to a tracking radar to illuminate dynamic in-flight DOD, foreign, and commercial fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft to perform RCS measurements. The turnkey system shall be installed at the NAWCAD Patuxent River, MD and consist of the following major components: pedestal and controller, antenna, transmitter, antenna and pedestal system foundation, RF distribution, equipment shelter, and data link.
