The Treasury Department is searching for a contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary for the installation of a new metal roof and gutter in three locations of the North and South court of the Main Treasury Building located at 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C., 20220. The existing portion of the metal roof in these areas has deteriorated beyond repair and is leaking. The estimated date of completion of the work is 120 days after the notice to proceed. The chosen firm must have at least five years of experience in the application of metal roofing and must have completed at least five metal roofing projects of a similar or greater scope with verified references. This project is set aside for a small business. The SIC code for this project is 1761 with a small business standard of $7.0 million. Specifications and drawings shall be made available on March 12, 1996 and may be obtained in person or by sending a fax request to (202) 622-2343.
