This Notice is to advise interested contractors that the U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for an Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract (IQCC) for miscellaneous minor repair and alteration projects at various USPS-owned and leased facilities in 40 counties in Northern California. The term of the contract will be for two consecutive years commencing from the date of award. The total quantity of work that will be required under this contract is indefinite, however, one or more ''Work Orders'' will be issued totaling not less than $10,000. With the aggregate of the contract not exceeding $1,000,000. Individual work orders will not be issued for less than $1,000. Offerors are required to submit a single ''Multiplier'' to be applied to the Unit Price to determine the value of each work order issued. The U. S. Postal Service reserves the right to make multiple awards on this solicitation. Offers will not be publicly opened and all proposal information received will remain confidential until the contract is awarded. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available on or about February 21, 1996. Plans may be inspected at the issuing office and any information needed regarding this solicitation may be obtained from Rita J. Williams at 901/747-7655. The successful contractor must have an office located within the geographical area covered by the contract, and the contract must be administered from that office having full authority to make contract decisions. Issue date for the above project is February 21, 1996. Return date for the above project is March 21, 1996. Performance Time is Two Years. The cost of the plans and specifications for the above project is $100 per set. This charge is non-refundable.
