A -- B52H STRUCTURAL DYNAMIC THERMAL MODELING POC David Staudt, Negotiator, (703) 325-9210, Edward L. Archer, Contracting officer, (703) 325-5028. This effort is part of an ongoing Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) program to develop a fast running computer model that determines the possible mechanical environments a warhead will be exposed to following an aircraft or ground vehicle collision into B-52Hs loaded with nuclear weapons. The objective of this effort is to run as many additional scenarios as possible and incorporate them into the fast running model. The contemplated period of performance is six months. DNA plans to award a sole source modification to Kaman Science Corporation (KSC) under contract DNA001-94-C-0187. DNA believes that KSC possesses the existing RDT&E expertise to adapt this specific requirement to meet this program requirement within the time required by DNA and available funding. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform this requirement. See Note 22. POC is David J. Staudt at (703) 325-9210. Information on DNA solicitations, already released, can be obtained by calling the DNA Hotline at (703) 325-1173. Reference Synopsis No. 96-34 (0053)
