Specialist, (215)897-7057. The Chloride Ion Detection Meter must
provide rapid on-site, quantitative measurements of chloride ion (300
ppb to 150 ppm) in a water matrix. The meter shall have the capability
to analyze chloride ion in the presence of the following ions and
gases with minimal interferences: Heavy Metals, Sulfate, Phosphates,
Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide, Morpholine, Hardness, EDTA, Hydrazine and
Nitrates. The metering device shall also have the capability to detect
the chloride ion without the addition of hazardous chemical reagents
to the water matrix. This synopsis is for information identifying
possible sources of a Chloride Ion Detection Device and planning
purposes only, does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be
