Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons will be soliciting
bids for the removal of all lead contained window casings, window stops
and window sashes on 206 windows, and for the removal of all lead
contained interior and exterior casings, frames and entry and storm
doors on 44 doors. Replacement doors and windows, as well as other
miscellaneous supplies needed for the job, as outlined in the
specifications, will be supplied by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The
work site is located at the residential housing on the grounds of the
Federal Correctional Institution, Danbury, Connecticut. The period of
performance for this project will be 45 days after receiving Notice to
Proceed. The SIC Code for this project is 1521. The action will be 100%
set aside for small business. The estimated cost range for this project
is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitations will be available on
March 12, 1996. The deadline for receipt of bids is April 11, 1996 at
1:00 p.m. local time. All requests for solicitation packages must be in
