The scope of work includes the establishment of the West fiber optic loop cable to be constructed on the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. The installation is comprised of an underground ductbank/loop cable system. The work consists of installing concrete encased duct bank and approximately 14,000 feet of underground duct bank system consisting of embedded PVC ducts with a concrete cap and manholes. Approximately 64,000 feet of fiber optic and copper control is to be furnished and installed in the contractor built and sponsor furnished ductbank system. The construction site is located within the Airport boundaries. Estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. There will be a $100.00 non-refundable charge for the plans and specifications. The proposed procurement is unrestricted regarding business size. The BOD is an approximate date only.
