The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Bell-Boeing,
Joint Program Office, suite 401, 1235 Jefferson Davis Hwy to develop
the Dynamic Component Monitoring (DCM) software functionality for the
V-22 Maintenance Data Processing System (MDPS) and provide subsequent
sustained engineering support. This development will be implemented in
two phases. Phase I will provide an Engineering Analysis report which
identifies risks and thus enchances the development of the MDPS DCM
operating software. Phase II will provide for the actual development of
the MDPS DCM operating software and provide sustained engineering
support. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer and producer of the V-22
aircraft and is the only firm capable of providing the V-22 technical
