The cA2 antibody is a monoclonal chimeric anti-TNF (tumor necrosis factor) antibody. This antibody was developed in an effort to combat a variety of diseases in which TNF possibly may be a destructive or pathogenic cytokine. This cA2 antibody is required for a critical ongoing patient care study. The antibody will be utilized in a Phse II Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) trial in an effort to determine the efficacy of this treatment modality. It is the Government's belief that these requirements will only be met by Centocor. However, concerns that respond to this notice must furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above.
