Paper evaluations of other known products revealed that only VPS/TCPIP software enhanced the VTAM Printer Support software currently installed and in use on the Strategic War Planning System (SWPS). The software is required to provide remote printing capability between the TRICOMS mainframe computers and remote HP4si printers attached to SWPS network PC computers.
