Project consists of removing competing vegetation within a five-foot radius of approximately 300 crop trees per acres, on an estimated 129 acres in recently planted conifer plantations. Unwanted vegetation shall be removed by pulling, grubbing, and cutting with the use of hand tools. Work is to be performed for the Happy Camp Ranger District, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Date for receipt of bids has not been established, but is estimated to be in mid March, 1996. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. (043)
