556-4080. The formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for Cheyenne Mountain
Air Station (CMAS), Cheyenne Mountain Complex (CMC) Mission Software
Support, will be released on or about 5 Mar 96. The solicitation
defines the fiscal years 1997 - 2001 services required for Cheyenne
Mountain Complex Mission Software Support (CMCMSS). General support
services will include software production, direct operational support,
system support, testing, and systems engineering and integration tasks
in support of the following systems: Communications System Segment
(CSS), Communications Protocol Interface Devices (CPIDS), 1.2.3.3.
Survivable Secure Communications Network (SSCN), Global Command and
Control System (GCCS), Communications System Segment Replacement
(CSSR), Survivable Communications Integration System (SCIS), Granite
Hammer (GH), CMAS Message Processor (CMP), Defense Message System (DMS)
Node, SPADCCS, Owner/Operator Communications System (SOCS), Space
Defense Operations Center (SPADOC), Scenario Data Injection System
(SDIS), Scenario Injection and Generation System (SIGS), Historical
Data System Replacement (HDSR), and Cheyenne Mountain Training System
(CMTS) - Space Segment Only. A limited subset of the required support
tasks will be performed on the following systems: Granite Sentry (GS),
Command Center Processing and Display System Replacement (CCPDSR),
Mission Support Segment (MSS) of the Mobile Consolidated Command Center
(MCCC), CINC Mobile Alternate Headquarters (CMAH), Processing and
Display System (PDS), Missile Warning Monitoring System (MWMS), Video
Distribution System (VDS), Post Attack Reporting System (PARS), NORAD
Computer System (NCS), Mission Essential Backup (MEBU), Warning Display
Terminal (WDT)/Theater Display Terminal (TDT), Modular Display System
(MDS), Cheyenne Mountain Training System (CMTS) - Warning Segment, and
Message Generator/Recorder (MG/R). The solicitation is a follow-on
requirement to the services provided under contract F05603-91-C-0011.
Requests for the formal RFP should be submitted in writing to 21
CONS/LGCXA, Attn: Anne Jackson, 135 E. ENT AVE, STE 101, PETERSON AFB,
CO 80914-1385 or telefaxed to (719) 556-8469. Copies of the RFP will
be available for pick-up on the date of release from 0800 - 1530 in
Bldg 365, 135 E. ENT AVE, STE 101, PETERSON AFB, CO 80914-1385. Copies
not picked up on the day of release will be mailed one work day after
the release date. The office of the Competition Advocate (HQ AFSPC/CA)
has an electronic bulletin board which contains program specific
information for industry. Access to this information is available in
person or via modem. Contact Ms Sally Claunch at (719) 554-5325 for
details. Updates to the milestone schedule, answers to industry
questions and comments, and other acquisition specific information will
be published on the bulletin board. This office will make no attempt to
individually contact potential offerors regarding milestone schedule
information. Please either watch the electronic bulletin board or

556-4080. Request that all contractual and technical questions
regarding this acquisition be submitted in writing to the contracting
officer. The anticipated milestone schedule is as follows: (1) release
final RFP: 5 Mar 96 (2) receive proposals: 16 Apr 96 (3) award
contract: 30 Sep 96 (4) start contract phase-in: 1 Nov 96. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
