JAN STOWELL (404) 752-2747 (Site Code DAKF11) Army Atlanta Contracting Center intends to award a sole source contract to Georgia Institute of Technology for administrative and technical support services for Army Environmental Policy Institute (AEPI). Administrative and technical support services will include conference and workshop support, library and library services, physical plant services, storage and access for secure and classified items, parking and gate passes, general support in the acquisition of technical items, Federal Information Processing (FIP) hardware maintenance, shuttle services, professional editing and publishing, catering services, automatic data processing equipment support, Point-to-Point Protocol line maintenance. All interested parties shall respond in writing, giving complete and sufficient information to show capabilities to perform these services for AEPI and to permit review for conformance to agency's requirements. Interested parties must also provide cost data along with their technical capabilities. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. No solicitation document exists, therefore, requests for such a document shall be considered invalid for the purpose of determining whather the respondent has a bona fide capability to meet the stated requirements. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended contractor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. Contractors requesting a copy of the solicitation without providing information about their capabilities to perform the administrative and technical support services for AEPI will not be considered when evaluating the feasibility of preparing a solicitation. However, all responses from responsible sources will be fully considered.
