J -- AIRCRAFT (HELICOPTER) WASHING SERVICES SOL N00604-96-R-0026 DUE 041596 POC Contact Point: Richard Harr, 808/474-2397 ext 210, Contract Specialist, Robert S Kay, Contracting Officer Aircraft (Helicopter) Washing Services to be performed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Island of Oahu. Government to provide a washing facility and prepare CH53D helicopters for washing by the contractor. The Government will also provide an area by washing facility to allow contractor to set-up a storage building to hold contractor's supplies. Contractor to provide all labor and materials to perform washing services in accordance with Government specifications. Contractor is responsible for the upkeep (general cleaning) of the washing facility and providing only Government designated washing supplies in accordance with specifications stated in solicitation. The Government will guarantee a minimum of 20 helicopters to be washed per month. The maximum number of helicopters washed per month is 76. Each washing will be inspected by Government inspector to ensure compliance with specifications with all deficiencies corrected prior to receiving acceptance of service performed. Each job performed must be accepted before payment will be made. Period of Performance is anticipated to be 1 June 1996 through 30 September 1996 (Base period) and four (4) 12 month option periods. A site visit will be included in the solicitation. The Government intends to include clause FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services in the solicitation. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
