The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Detachment Washington, intends to negotiate an increase to an existing contract with Robert's Oxygen of Rockville, MD to procure EO/CO2, 60 PSI, (G) (Ethalyne Oxygen CO2, a sterilization gas) for the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC), Bethesda, MD. Commercial item acquisition procedures will be used when applicable. This will be a pre-priced indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity modification for the current year plus one remaining option year. The quantity required is 188 bottles per year (total of 376 bottles which includes current year plus one remaining option year). Delivery is to be within 48 hours after the date of order at NNMC with the purpose of helping suppport in-patient care. The current contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. As this contract action will be procured as a sole-source contract modification, no formal solicitation will be issued. Robert's Oxygen is the only known local source which provides this specialized item. Interested vendors capable of supplying EO/CO2, 60 PSI (G) must contact Mr. Howard Patty within ten (10) calendar days after publication of this notice in the CBD.
