Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, mobilization and demobilization required to: (a) Renovate anexisting Bachelors Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) to serve as an Administration Building, and construct an addition to the BEQ to house electronics and communications equipment at Fort Wadsworth; (b) Renovate an existing public works building to serve as ahousing administration, maintenance and shops building at Fort Wadsworth; (c) Construct new Administration and Shops Buildings and renovate two existing housing buildings to watchstander berthing, demolish two building and raise the site above theflood elevation at Rosebank; (d) Demolish the existing piers and construct a new breakwater and relocate the existing mooring floats from Governors Island to provide mooring facilities for Search and Rescue boats at Rosebank. The work includesbuilding demolition, hazardous materials abatement, earthwork, site utilities, site lighting, paving, landscaping, pile foundations, concrete, steel and masonry building construction, roofing, interior finishes, floor coverings, raised access flooring,antenna tower, elevator, plumbing, HVAC and fire suppression systems, power, fire alarm, communications, data and security systems, and emergency generator. The Rosebank waterfront project includes demolition of steel/concrete piling and concretepiers, steel piling and pile caps, timber wave screen, relocation of concrete mooring floats, new mooring floats, lighting, and water, compressed air, power, and fuel dispensing systems. SIC: 1542. Estimated price range by facility is: (a) For Ft.Wadsworth Admin. Bldg. $3,900,000 - $5,900,000; (b) For Ft. Wadsworth Maintenance Bldg. $500,000 - $1,000,000; (c) For Rosebank Waterfront $2,400,000 - $3,900,000; (d) For Rosebank Uplands $2,500,000 - $4,050,000. Duration of contract period isapproximately 14 months, for the overall project, but has multiple delivery dates depending on the specific facility. Plans and Specifications and/or Plan Holders List will be available approximately 20 Feb 1996 and must be ordered in writing. Thereis a nonrefundable charge of $75.00 for each solicitation set.
