(207)921-2665 Project description: a. R-Architect/Engineer Services,
Indefinite Quantity, Full Discipline, A/E Contract at the Naval Air
Station Brunswick, Maine. b. Projects may include but are not limited
to the following: Project No. 1 - Repairs and Alterations to Building
201, Neptune Hall Scope of Work - The engineer shall provide design
services for a) interior decorative services to enhance general
apearance of serving, dining and kitchen areas and separation issues;
b) addition of glass solariums to the front and rear of the building;
c) exhaust and ventilation improvements including fan curtain, bug
elimination units at selected doors; d) landscaping/exterior lighting
and related outdoor items; e) general sound/speaker system for
building. Subject to necessary changes, the total annual A/E Fee that
may be paid under this contract will not exceed $200,000. Selection
criteria: (1) Specialized experience of the firm in the type of work
required; (2) Professional qualifications of staff to be assigned to
this project; (3) Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the
work in the time required; (4) The firms CAD capabilities and
compatability with NASB CAD system; (5) Past experience with respect to
Defense Department Contracts; (6) Location of the firm in the
geographical area; (7) Volume of work previously awarded by DOD. c. A.E
Firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are
invited to submit completed standard forms 254 (unless already on file)
and 255, U.S. Government Architect-Engineer Qualifications to the
Resident Officer in Charge of Construction, Naval Air Station, 200
Alpha Avenue, Brunswick, Maine 04011. Firms responding to this
announcement with the submittal of an SF 255 by 16 February 1996 will
be considered. Respondents may supplement this proposal with graphic
material and photographs which best demonstrate design capabilities of
the team proposed for the project. See Note 24. This is not a request
