020196 POC Johnnie L. Rice, Contracting Officer (301)-402-3086. The
National Institute on Aging of the National Institutes of Health
intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of 41
U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1, a contract with Airlie
Foundation for a basic period of one year with four (4) twelve (12)
month option periods. The Contractor must provide conference facilities
including lodging, accommodations for group meals, and spaces for large
and small group discussions including evening sessions for an annual
conference. Audiovisual services and conference support must also be
provided. The facility is in a rural area diminishing participant
distractions while remaining within a reasonable travel distance from
transportation centers. It is the Government's belief that these
requirements can be met only by Airlie Foundation. All responses must
be written and received within 45 calendar days form the published date
of this notice. ORAL COMMUNICATION IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND WILL NOT BE
HONORED. Any firm believing it has the ability to meet the Government's
requirement is invited to respond to this notice furnishing clear and
convincing documentation demonstrating their ability to meet, at a
minimum, all the stated performance and capabilities to accomplish the
subject contract. The Government will NOT pay for preparation or
submission of any information submitted in response to this synopsis.
