USDOC/NOAA/WASC Purchasing is soliciting sources to provide public education & outreach services for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary (MBNMS). Services will include working with the MBNMS to develop an education/outreach plan & coordinating & building upon regional, state & national water quality & marine science education programs to establish an on going network of organizations which can share costs & staff time to develop NBNMS literature. Interested respondents must have ability & experience in: 1) working with diverse organizations and committees to develop education materials, 2) production & set-up of interpretive signs and workshop displays, 3) development & production of conservation publications, 4) developing slide presentations on conservation issues, 5) public speaking to diverse community and govt. groups, 6) coordinating special events for public outreach, 7) working with marine educational organizations to develop training programs, 8) coordinating development of videos and/or cd-roms, and 9) scuba diving and working with multimedia equipment including underwater video/photographic cameras. Interested sources must respond within 15 days from the date of this publication and must show that sources can meet above criteria. See numbered Note 1. This is a small purchase action. Min.
