Destination, U.S. Army Engineer Division, New England, Waltham, Massachusetts, One Differential Global Positioning and Navigation System. The system is to be furnished as one complete system which will include three (3) Geodetic Dual Frequency GPS Receivers, Firmware and Software. This DGPS system will be required to operate primarily on the fly (OTF) with real time kinematic (RTK) operating together in the differential positioning mode. In addition, this system will be required to support the following types of differential GPS carrier phase applications: static, rapid static, stop and go, kinematic GPS, and pseudo kinematic. The system will include differential global positioning telemetry link, radio link frequency 900 MHZ tunable radio, and computer system similar or equal to an HP Vectra VL3. Differential GPS positioning and navigation system hardware, firmware, and software is to be standard off-the-shelf items. DGPS required software will be run on a window's environment compatible with Government-Owned hydro surveying data collection software. OTF and RTK DGPS system is required to operate in a handshake mode with hypack, feeding the hypack system positions and time tags in real time as survey is being conducted. Handshaking protocols, data acquisition, real time issues and data formatting must be consistent and comply with hypack version 5.9 software specifications.
