R -- TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES SOL 689-55-96 DUE 031596 POC Contact Point, Mark Phillips, (203)937-3086 Provide transcription services for medical records to the VA VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven, CT for one year with four one-year options to extend services. Dictations to be transmitted by rerecord from the Medical Center's Digital Dictation System into a Satellite Dictation System located at the offices of the transcription contractor. The dictation system is a Philips Dictation Systems model 4000. The Satellite Dictation System will be supplied to the contractor by the Medical Center. Contractor will be responsible for all other charges associated with providing the services including transcribe stations and telephone lines. Return of transcribed material shall be by electronic transmission of files via modem to a PC located at the Medical Centern or directly to the Medical Center's mainframe computer system.
