The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the following: Removal of existing windows and tunnel airlock and installation of doorways, masonry infill and concrete floor in openings at these locations, Removal of existing work platform, columns, and miscellaneous steel in high bay area, Removal, modification, and reinstallation of existing steel framed storage platform, guard rails, and aluminum planking at new elevation to allow for construction of new laboratory beneath. Replacement of existing stairs to storage platform with new steel stairs, Conversion of existing laboratory to office space and construction of new room, Replacement of acoustical ceiling systems on the northwest end of the third floor and provision of new acoustical ceiling systems where indicated, Painting of interior walls and floors where indicated on drawings and/or the finish schedule, Removal of existing HVAC systems on the northwest end of the third floor and in Room 211 and installation of new systems as indicated, Replacement of existing chiller, Removal of existing lighting fixtures, mechanical equipment electrical items, panelboards, receptacles, miscellaneous outlets, and associated conduit and wiring as indicated, and, Provision of lighting fixtures, mechanical equipment items and connections, panelboards, receptacles, miscellaneous outlets, and associated conduit and wiring as indicated.
