R -- LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM AND WORKSHOP SOL DASW01-96-R-0043 DUE 022196 POC Contact Contracting Officer, Kathy Dobeck, (703) 695-2562, Contract Specialist, Debbie Smith, (703) 695-2563 The Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to procure on a sole source basis with Texas Tech University, Lubock, Texas to conduct a Chief of Staff, Army, Leadership Symposium and Workshop. The symposium will bring to together noted leadership scholars and senior level Army leaders to discuss leadership theory and research, and to identify the key issues for Army leadership and leader development over the next five (5) to ten (10) years. The emphasis, driven by changes in force structure and missions, will be on training and developing leaders to be effective in an environment of continuous change and uncertainty. The workshop will be compressed into three (3) days of intensive discussion and working groups from 27-29 March 1996 in Wheaton, IL. See Note 22. (0023)
