McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires one each slip table
assembly which shall mate with and become an integral part of an
existing Unholtz-Dickie Model T-4000 series electrodynamic vibration
exciter (provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)). The slip
table assembly shall be manufactured in accordance with
NAVSURFWARCENDIV performance specifications. The vibration system will
be used to test very heavy objects which, together with fixturing, may
weigh up to 2000+ pounds. The slip table assembly shall be designed and
constructed to provide optimum performance during intermittent and
continuous operation. Maximum dimensions for the complete assembly
shall not be greater than 14 feet long by 9 feet wide. A granite
bearing surface of sufficient size to totally support a 60 inch by 60
inch slip plate while undergoing vibrations at maximum displacement
(typically a 1.25 inch stroke for the shaker) shall be supplied. A
closed circuit oil circulation system (pumps, lines, etc.) shall be
located within the slip table base. The contractor shall align the GFE
shaker to the slip plate after installation of the shaker to the slip
table assembly. Delivery is required F.O.B. destination to
NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane within 180 days after effective date of the
contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be
