The Air Force intends to issue a full and open competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) to waterproof basements of military family housing units, Hanscom AFB, MA. The principle items of work include but are not limited to: furnishing all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform all operations for treatment of water infiltration into foundations of Military Family Housing units; 72, 74, 76, 78, 91, 93, 95, 101 Ent Road, 123, 116 Offutt Road, and 102, 126 Patterson Road. Selection criteria include: price, knowledge of objectives, experience, management, and a preliminary schedule. The prime contractor will be required to perform no less than 80 percent of the contract with their own personnel. An exclusionary period will be added to the work. No work will be required until 01 May 96. The estimated price range for this project is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. Anticipated RFP release date is 06 Feb 96, with a projected award date of 10 Apr 96. A preproposal conference is planned for 15 Feb 96 at 10:00 AM EST, Bldg 1520, first floor conference room, Hanscom AFB, MA. The conference will be used to explain specifications and requirements to interested sources, provide an opportunity to visit the sites, and aid prospective contractors in later submitting proposals with undue expenditure of effort, time, and money.
