(816) 426-3106 Contracting Officer The intended scope of this project
is to complete the Relocation and Installation of the Runway 14R ILS
components along with the Runway 32L Localizer and Glide Slope. The
project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following:
APPROACH LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH SEQUENCED FLASHERS (ALSF-2), RUNWAY 14R
1) Install Government Furnished engine generator, engine generator
building, fuel tank and all pertinent accessories, plus all
foundations. 2) Erect new ALSF Substation building along with
foundations. 3) Install all frangible ALSF-2 Low Impact Resistant (LIR)
light stations from station 1 + 00 to station 15 + 00 and install ALSF
platforms from stations 16 + 00 through 24 + 00. 4) Install all power
and control cable loops associated with ALSF from substation to light
system as stated in the design package. 5) Install all necessary
hardware and equipment as stated in the design package. 6) Install all
cable runs as stated in design package for the threshold bar along
with all necessary equipment, and etc. 7) Install and hook up all
existing grounding and lightning protection as stated in design
package. 8) Install and hook up all secondary power to ALSF substation
as stated in design package. LOCALIZER, RUNWAY 32L 1) Install all
anchor bolts as stated in design package for antenna system. 2)
Relocate and install existing shelter on new foundations. 3) Install
all necessary cables as stated in design package from localizer antenna
pad to shelter. 4) Install and hook up all secondary power to shelter
and to antenna pad. 5) Install and hook up all existing grounding and
lightning protection as stated in design package. TOUCHDOWN RUNWAY
VISUAL RANGE (RVR), RUNWAY 14R 1) Relocate and install transmissometer
receiver and projector towers and equipment to new RVR plot. 2) Hook
up all existing counterpoise cable to towers and equipment as stated in
design package. 3) Install and hook up all necessary cables and
appurtenances as stated in design package. 4) Install and hook up all
secondary power to RVR system as stated in design package. GLIDE SLOPE
(GS), RUNWAY 14R 1) Relocate and install glide slope antenna tower,
bldg. & all necessary appurtenances as stated in design package at new
plot. 2) Hook up and install all existing grounding and lightning
protection system as stated in design package. 3) Install all necessary
conduit runs and all necessary cables and all appurtenances as stated
in design package. 4) Install and hook up all secondary power to GS
shelter as stated in design package. INNER MARKER (IM) & FAR FIELD
MONITOR (FFM), RUNWAY 14R 1) Install all cables to the inner marker and
Far Field Monitor antenna foundations as stated in design package. 2)
Hook up all existing grounding as stated in design package. MIDDLE
MARKER (MM), RUNWAY 14R 1) Install new middle marker shelter and
platform on existing foundations. 2) Install and hook up all cables and
grounding as stated in design package. 3) Install and hook up all
secondary power to MM shelter as stated in design package. 4) Install
counterpoise on top of MM shelter as stated in design package. FIELD
TERMINATION UNIT'S (FTU'S) 1) Install and hook up all control cables as
stated in design package. 2) Install FTU along with foundation as
stated in design package. 3) Install all conduits associated with
control loop as stated in deisgn package. GLIDE SLOPE (GS), RUNWAY 32L
1) Remove the existing cap plates from the flanges and add a 10 ft.
section of tower to the existing glide slope tower. 2) Extend the
conduit and obstruction light to the top of the tower. 3) Extend the
air terminal and air terminal ground wire. 4) Add coaxial cable ground
box and connect to existing grounding system. 5) Remove existing coax
cable conduit and weatherhead and install new conduit and weatherhead.
Reroute new conduit through coaxial cable ground box. 6) Extend OSHA
ladder and safety climbing device by 10 ft. 7) Repair hole in fiber
glass shelter left from coaxial cable rerouting. The estimated price
range of this project is $1,000,000 to $1,500,000. The SIC Code is
1629. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. To
