CBU-87B/B is a 1,000 lb, unguided, air-dispensed clustermunition, designed for direct attack against armored and other targets, with anti-armor, anti-Personnel and incendiary capabilities. Major components of each CBU-87B/B include a tactical munitions DIS-penser (SUU-65/B), proximity sensor/fuze (FZU-39/B), combined effects bomblet (BLU-97a/B-202 per CBU) and a shipping/storage container (CNU-411a/E-2 cbus/container). Government furnishedmaterial/explosive provided. Delivery period shall be Oct 97-Sep 98. The Solicitation shall contain an unevaluated/NTE priced option for FY 97 CEM program for the CBU-87B/B.
