PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Provide all plant, materials, equipment, tools, supplies and labor required to perform the work necessary to complete project in accordance with the contract specifications and plans. Work includes but is not limited to: Cleaning of 4, 1 million-gallon underground storage tanks (UST); in-place abandonment of the UST's through backfilling. Demolition of surface appurtenances and structures related to tanks. Removal, decontamination, and transport to a recycling facility of approx. 4,500 l.f. of mostly 6 to 8 inch diameter carbon steel piping. Site restoration with clean fill material and revegetation. Removal of a 1,000 gallon capacity oil-water separator, stockpiling contaminated soil. Off-site thermal treatment of contaminated soil. Project location is Operable Unit 2, Source Area ST41 on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicitation will be available on or about 29 JAN 96 with a closing date of 14 MAR 96. Project is to be completed within 120 calendar days of the NTP. Package will be sent upon written request. There may be a cost to the package which will be determined prior to issuance. Request shall include size of business. This project is open to both Large and Small Businesses.
