The United States Postal Service seeks proposals to lease existing space, space to be modified or facilities to be constructed in Monson, MA. The preferred area is bounded on the north by Country Club Drive; the south by Blanchard Rd; on the east within 1/2 mile of the existing post office; and on the west within 1/2 mile of the existing post office. Space requirements are 5,734 sq. ft. net interior; 26,677 sq. ft. driveway, parking and maneuvering; 578 sq. ft. covered platform with a minimum site size of 81,000 sq. ft. excluding setbacks, easements, etc. The lease term is for a minimum of 20 years with four five-year renewal options. Proposals will be received through February 5, 1996 and must be submitted by principals only on specified forms and in accordance with the official advertisement for space.
