The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to enter into negotiations with Microlog Corporation of Germantown, MD on a sole source basis for software support of the Telephone Routing Interactive System (TRIS). The software support consist of analysis, design, and development of interactive telephone applications such as Voice Balance Due, Location, Refund Inquiry, Data Directed Routing, etc.; testing and intergration services for existing and future applications, implementation support for the roll-out of applications; and training for application developers and system administrators. These services will be on Microlog Voice Response Units with the propriety Intela software product. This contract will be for a period of one year from date of contract award with four year option periods. See Note 22. (0003)
