DGSC proposes to issue formal source selection RFP/ firm, fixed-price contract for national support of industrial compressed and liquified gases and cylinder service support under which customers may purchase directly from the contractor and have supplies delivered in a timely manner to adesignated location within the continental United States. Contractor will maintain inventory of cylinders and will have responsibility for refurbishing and ensuring hydrostatic testing ofcylinders. Orders for filled cylinders will be passed electronically to the contractor with empty cylinders picked up by the contractor simultaneously with filled cylinder delivery. Gases to be included in the contract are acetylene 10 thru 330 CF, argon 200 thru 266 CF, 1800-2400 psig; argon 381 CF, 3500 psig; argon 578 CF, 6000 psig; carbon dioxide 50 thru 100 lb bulk, 1800-2265 psig; chlorine 100 thru 150 lb, helium 178 thru 220 CF, 1800-2265 psig; Hydrogen 175 thru 216 CF, 1800-2265 psig; oxygen, welding 200 thru 308 CF, 1800-2400 psig; oxygen, aviators 200 thru 308 CF bulk cryogenic liquid, 1800-2400 psig; nitrogen 187 thru 276 CF, 1800-2400 psig; 336 thru 344 CF, 3500-3600 psig;494 CF bulk cryogenic liquid, 6000 psig; propane 100 thru 200 lb bulk.
