Work consists of Electric Service Upgrades, Bldg. 153 & 258. Remove six (6) existing single phase transformers and accessory work and install two (2) BNL supplied 500 kvA transformers in their place. Work includes the upgrading of primary and secondary feeders, trenching, manholes, panels, accessories and hookup. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $100,000 to $250,000. Estimated construction time is 16 weeks. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $30 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability. Requests for bid packages received without proper payment will not be acknowledged. (0356)
