The contract work consists of maintenance dredging to be performed within the Delaware River, Philadelphia to the Sea project and also within the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, Reedy Point to Walsh Point, at various locations between Sta. -0+400 and Sta. 97+000. The work assignment will be unit price for the entire contract excluding the C&D Canal which will be bid as an option. Dredging will be performed to the specified required depth plus l' allowable overdepth limited by a vertical plans through the required depth contour. The contract will provide for dredging for a distance of 25' outside the channel edge in the Delaware River but only to the channel edge in the C&D Canal. Specifications and 1/2 size drawings will be furnished at a charge of $7.00 per set. Issue date for plans and specifications is on or about 19 January 1996 with a bid opening date of 21 February 1996 at 11:00 a.m. All requests for a solicitation package should be in writing along with a check or money order made payable to ``FAO, USAED, NORFOLK'' and must include your Federal tax Identification Number.
