SWIZEWSKI, (215)697-9633 The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to procure one subscription of a LAN version material locator/logistic support software for 50 simultaneous users. The required software shall locate data by various sub-headings; process requests in batch mode; locate vendor information; provide procurement history for located items; provide information simultaneously to 50 users; locate technical data about items; provide price information and availability status in stock system; locate old of new stock number when stock number is change; allow query searches and reports; and provide on-line help. The software must also operate within a windows based interface on a Banyon vines network operating system. This software shall be procured under a Firm-Fixed Price contract with one option period. This software is required by Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA and shall be delivered within 30 days of contract award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered equally by FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia. The proposed solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 12 January 1996.
