Request for Information Only. There is no solicitation package
available. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division is
investigating various alternative methods of shore based aircraft
deicing, keeping in mind enviromental concerns, and seeks information
as to the availability of commercial equipment. The following are areas
of specific interest: Aircraft deicing trucks; Aircraft deicing
solution collection trucks; Deicing solution collection method which
will provide for the recycling of the solution; and Aircraft deicing
facilities (built facilities which use deicing solution or any other
alternate method- not necessarily chemical solutions). The above areas
are not exclusive and any information on any other method is welcome.
Firms who have products which can satisfy the above reqquirements are
requested to rovide literature and/or other descriptive information no
later than 12 January 1996 to Ms. Barbara Petrkilka, Naval Air Warfare

Respondents are notified that a formal solicitation may not necessarily
result from the RFI. Any comments provided may or may not be included
in a formal solicitation. The Government will not pay for any
information received in response to this RFI nor will the Government
compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the
