The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for a system to close loop existing vehicle pressure and manual washing operations. The system is expected to continually reuse wash/rinse/rinse water collected from vehicle/equipment cleaning operations so that discharge to sewers would never be required. The system should be capable of reusing wastewater from at least one or more of the following types of vehicles cleaning operations: (a) cars and light duty van/trucks; (b) large vehicles such as construction or tracked vehicles, fire engines and tractor trailers that may be more heavily contaminated with dirt and oil; (c) washing military aircraft. The system should be mobile or skidmounted for outdoor use. Freeze protection measures, stormwater diverters and special cleaning detergents if required should be identified. Maintenance should not require personnel to enter a confined space. Additionally, the NAWCADLKE is interested in determining if this item, along with the technical information required to support the equipment, is available in the commercial marketplace and meets the definition of commercial items as defined in the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) Part 211. The technical information would be required to include a technical manual that would contain operation instructions, maintenance instructions and illustrated parts breakdown. Other data required would be supplemental provisioning technical documentation, a provisioning parts list, provisioning and other procurement screening data and a support material list. Those sources interested in this Request For Information are invited to submit their information, and a description of any currently available product that meets our requirements. This is not a Request for Proposal and no solicitation is available. The Government will not respond to any request for solicitation packages under this Request for Information.
