The contractor shall be responsible for the supply and installation of category 5 unshielded twisted pair (utp) 10 base tcabling from a central wiring closet to approximately 90 workstations at our facility in blacklick, OH. Each 10 base T cable shall be terminated in a modular tap panel in the central wiringcloset. At the workstation end, each cable shall be terminated with an RJ-45 type receptacle. Cable will be Ran through drop ceilings, Walls and/or modular furniture. The contractor will be responsible for testing each run to insure NO breaks have occurred, all terminations have been properly installed and all runs meet industry standards for category 5 utp. The contractor will be restricted to working from 1700 to 2200 HRS EST on weekdays or weekends 0700 to 1700 HRS EST unless otherwise authorized. All requests for the RFQ shall be in writing.
