Q -- MEDICAL SERVICES Sol. RFP-196-086. Due 020296. POC: Annette Rupp/Contract Specialist. Qualified organizations capable of providing medical services (hospitalization, intensive care, emergency care, consultations, special diagnostic testing, etc.) for Federal offenders are sought. Organizations are requested to contact the contracting office listed in this notice. Requests for information must be in writing and include the solicitation (RFP) number, specific location of proposed medical facility, and name of contact person and telephone number. Contractor shall furnish facilities, equipment, and personnel necessary for the medical care of Federal offenders requiring medical services. Location of the facility shall be within the metropolitan area of Tucson, Arizona. Medical services and/or supply quantities that may be required can not be assured. The anticipated approximate projection will be one (1) inpatient per month with an average length of stay estimated at three (3) to five (5) days, and eight (8) outpatients or emergency room care patients per month. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about January 17, 1996 and the estimated closing date is February 20, 1996. Contract period of performance will include a base period not to exceed twelve (12) months with four (4) year option periods for renewal.
